"Search the scriptures" and let them speak a thus saith the Lord (John 5:39-40). Are you seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33)? Are you working out your own salvation with fear and trembling (Phillipians 2:12)? Have you made your calling and election sure
(II Peter 1:10)? Have you been made free from sin (Romans 6:17-18)? Have you repented of your sins (Luke 13:3)? Have you confessed Christ before men (Matthew 10:21)? Have you been baptized for the remission of sins (Acts 2:38)? Have you entered the narrow gate
(Matthew 7:13-14)? Have you put on Christ (Galatians 3:27)?Are you the salt of the earth (Matthew 5:13)? Are you walking in the light (I John 1:7)? Are you the light of the world (Matthew 5:14)? Are you hearing the words of Jesus and doing them
(Matthew 7:24-25, Luke 6:46)?Are you assembling with the saints on the Lord's day (Hebrews 10:25)? Do you commune with the Lord by partaking of the Lord's Supper on the first day of the week (Acts 20:7)? Do you lay by in store on the first day of the week as God has caused you to prosper (I Corinthians 16:2)? Are you building your hopes on a solid foundation (Matthew 7:24-25)? Are you a doer of the word and not a hearer only (James 1:22)? Are you rightly dividing the word of Truth (II Timothy 2:15)? Do you love God with all your heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37)?
Are you giving food to the hungry? Are you giving drink to the thirsty? Are you clothing the naked? Are you visiting the sick (Matthew 25:35-36)? Do you visit the fatherless and the widows in their affliction (James 1:27)?
Have you confessed you faith that Jesus is the Christ the Son of God (Acts 8:37)? Have you added to your faith virtue? Have you added to your virtue knowledge? Have you added self control to your knowledge? Have you become patient? Have you changed from worldly thoughts to godliness? Do you exercise brotherly kindness? Do you love mankind in general (II Peter 1:5-7)? If you can say yes to these questions and live faithful until death then Heaven will be your eternal home in the after awhile (Revelation 2:10).
Just remember there is a way that seems right unto man (Proverbs 14:12), but, it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps (Jeremiah 10:23).
